My wife, Joan, and I, along with our children, moved to Arnold in 1970 from Fremont, CA where I had been employed as a production supervisor at General Motors since moving from West Chester, Pennsylvania, in 1964.
Joan and I became real estate brokers, owning Larry Muetterties Realty with two offices in Arnold, Murphys and Plymouth. I was instrumental in bringing the Multiple Listing Service to Calaveras County, a huge benefit to all county realtors.
